The text from the manual
The operations manual binds your franchisees, and the requirements for their brand presence are part of it. The customer contract is the part of it the customer ends up holding.
Your franchisees operate as legally independent businesses. Customer contracts must nevertheless be structured consistently across all locations and follow identical legal standards: head office controls the contract text, while each partner’s company details and powers of representation are filled in automatically.
What should be the same everywhere sits with every franchisee as a separate file.
The operations manual binds your franchisees, and the requirements for their brand presence are part of it. The customer contract is the part of it the customer ends up holding.
Every franchisee is a business of its own: own company name, own address, own signatory. The contract shows their company, not yours.
If clauses need revising, you enter the change once, centrally. From the moment of approval, every partner business uses the current version without exception, so unnoticed deviations caused by outdated local Word documents are ruled out.
How it should work
Head office manages the master templates. Affiliated partners generate their customer contracts from them, automatically supplemented with the location’s own master data, register numbers and signature fields. Every template update takes effect immediately for future contracts, while existing contracts remain archived audit-proof with their original version.
We tailor cross-location template management individually to the structure of your partner network. If you run a franchise system or branch network of independent businesses, get in touch. We will introduce the functions as part of our partnership programme.
